What it is

LiquiXo is an exosome formula added to your IV drip. Made by Liquivida and "Powered by Platinum Biologics," it is a 1 mL formula of exosomes derived from umbilical cord tissue (Wharton's jelly), added to a drip such as a Myers' Cocktail, NAD+, immunity or hydration drip. Exosomes are signaling particles; they contain no living cells, so they are not stem cells.

Potential benefits

According to Liquivida, the exosomes carry the drip's vitamins into your cells and protect them from breaking down. Liquivida says the formula also includes a full amino acid blend (leucine, isoleucine and valine, plus glutamine, arginine and others) designed to support muscle protein synthesis, and positions LiquiXo for people losing weight on GLP-1 medication, where a share of the weight lost can be muscle. Research on exosomes is early, and results vary. Our experts will tell you honestly what to expect.

Who it's for

Active adults who want to support their recovery, and people losing weight on GLP-1 medication, after a consultation with our experts.

Who it isn't for

Not suitable if you have active or past cancer, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection or an autoimmune condition that is flaring or not well controlled, have a blood disorder such as sickle cell, or have had a severe reaction to an injection or infusion.

What to expect

  • Before: a consultation with our experts and a signed consent.
  • On the day: a relaxed IV drip in the clinic, about 50 minutes, with LiquiXo added to it.
  • After: no downtime. Mild soreness or a small bruise at the IV site is common and fades in a few days. Some people feel lightheaded; you'll rest until you feel ready to leave.
  • Your course: every 2 weeks to start, then every 3 to 4 weeks once you're stable.
